ASP cadre allowed to write Sr Postmaster Exam.... CAT orders

Today, it is intimated by Ex-Circle Secretary of All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents Posts, Andhra Pradesh Circle Branch that three OAs filed at Hyderabad Bench are admitted on 13.11.2013 with a direction "in the circumstances make it clear that the applicants and personnel are similarly placed persons i.e. holding post of ASPOs shall be allowed to compete for LDCE for post of Sr. PM as and when recruitment take places, subject to the conditions of eligibility". Today, it is intimated by Ex-Circle Secretary of All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents Posts, Andhra Pradesh Circle Branch that three OAs filed at Hyderabad Bench are admitted on 13.11.2013 with a direction "in the circumstances make it clear that the applicants and personnel are similarly placed persons i.e. holding post of ASPOs shall be allowed to compete for LDCE for post of Sr. PM as and when recruitment take places, subject to the conditions of eligibility".

Revised norms of work of Postmen----for information of supervisory cadre

Department in Memo No 9-1/2005-WSI/PE-I dated 5.2.2010 has revised the norms for Postmen establishment as follows. The revised norms will also be applicable for GDS MD as per note below Rule 106 of Volume VI Part III. The Head of Circles and Regional PMsG are requested to undertake a review of the implementation of revised norms after six months and provide the for assessing the impact of new norms and undetaking a fresh review if considered necessary.
