Postal Dept to recruit 55,000 gramin dak sevaks Hyderabad, September 16:   The Departments of Posts plans to recruit around 55,000 Grameen Dak Sevaks through online mode in November, B.V Sudhakar, Secretary, Department of Posts, said. Addressing a Press Conference here on Friday, Sudhakar informed that the software required for online recruitment is at the testing stage and the online method will ensure transparency in this recruitment. In order to address the grievances of the postal customers, the National Service Call Centre - 1924 - was launched on September 12, 2016. Customers can call from any network to this number and they will be given a unique 11-digit ticket ID to check the status of their complaint. Nearly 98 per cent grievances and complaints were resolved, he said in a statement. Press Information Bureau Government of India Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions 01-July-2016 16:38 IST Government decides not to withhold appointment letters pending the verification of character and antecedents of the successful candidates  The Government has decided that the issue of appointment letters need not be withheld pending the verification of character and antecedents of the successful candidates. The appointing authorities will issue provisional appointment letters after obtaining the attestation form and self declaration from the candidate.  In the appointment letter, it will be clearly mentioned that in case character and antecedents of the candidate is found not verified or any false information is given by the candidate in his/her self-declaration, the provisional appointment will be cancelled forthwith and other criminal/legal action will also be taken, as a consequence. It is learnt assuredly that the results were on the desks at Directorate for final clearance. However some other blogs have published results of some circles . This blog administration does not feel it it fit to try to publish any information before they are cleared officially by Directorate. In fact , it is not a good practice. We can understand the enthusiasm of the candidates and also want to share their excitement . This blog always tried in this way for the best of the cadre. The candidates have to pay the prescribed fee mentioned above through  “Sunayasam” in any Head Post Office in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana States listed in  the Annexure (The list of Head Post Offices is enclosed as Annexure).
