Split duty allowance is not being paid to the above category of officials even though they are put into split duty like other officials as they fall under Group ‘B’ classification. Split duty allowance may be paid to the above category officials ordered for split duty irrespective of their classification. Since the officials in the Group ‘B’ are not granted Split duty allowance as per DOPT orders, it will be examined whether they should be put on Split duty or not.
