ALL   INDIA  ASSOCIATION OF  POSTAL SUPERVISORS (GL) – CWC HELD  SUCCESSFULLY ON 27.08.2014  AT  HYDERABAD  .  The  AIAPS (GL) cwc meeting has been held at  Hyderabad  on 27.08.2014 . The members from various states  Delhi , U.P, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu & A.P..  etc.,  Circles have been participated in the meet. Sri Manoj Bhardwaj, G.S , CHQ New  delhi , Sri T.N.Seshadri, President, CHQ,  Sri K. Kanniappan, Ex-GS  and other members discussed the  organizational issues.  Adjoining of the Postmaster cadre issue was studied and agreed to join Post Master Cadre officials in the existing Postal Supervisors association and also agreed to take up post master cadre issues at the level of Directorate immediately.  The G.S, AIAPS(GL) The  G.S , President along with association members visited the  DAK SADAN and met with  CPMG, Andhra Pradesh Circle -  Shri B.V.Sudhakar, IPos

EMPLOYEES SHOULD IMPROVE PUNCTUALITY IN ATTENDING OFFICES Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth has asked Secretaries of all central departments to intensify the crackdown on government employees who are found to be “habitually late” in reaching office. Seth, in his July 31 missive, has specifically cited concerns expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.      Stating that the onus lies on the Secretaries to make the staff more work-oriented, the letter says that Modi has taken cognizance of some official reports which say that there has been no visible improvement in the ambience of the workplaces while “some officials have been habitually coming late” to work. “In some departments, the ministers have noticed the laxity in this regard. The PM has expressed concern over these reports,” says the letter. Now, Newly formed POSTMASTER CADRE will also be the MEMBERS of All India Association of Postal Supervisors: Important Amendment Some of the Important amendments to the constitution / by-laws of A.I.A.P.S.(G.L.) WERE passed unanimously during the 17th All India Conference of A.I.A.P.S. (G.L.) held at Saharanpur(U.P.) from 10-04-2011 to 12-04-2011.Two copies of the amendments are already been sent to Postal Directorate on 26 April 2011 for approval.   The matter is under approval with Department, and in such condition neither department can refuse to approve these amendments, nor any other union or association can claim for this newly form cadre, Because, A.I.A.P.S.(GL) is the only recognized association concerns with Postal Supervisors cadre like: TBOP, BCR, LSG, HSG. As the department has dissolved TBOP/BCR and introduced MACP-I,II,III and other side, LSG/HSG postal supervisers directly promoted to new Post Master Gr-I &II basically.
