NDA government focused on division of Indian postal sector between two states for separate head post offices in Telangana and AP. They plans to divide the postal sector within 8 months and searches for new Chief Post Master. The central government decided to segregate employees with a ratio 58:42

Revised norms of work of Postmen----for information of supervisory cadre

Department in Memo No 9-1/2005-WSI/PE-I dated 5.2.2010 has revised the norms for Postmen establishment as follows. The revised norms will also be applicable for GDS MD as per note below Rule 106 of Volume VI Part III.
