Mumbai: The Department of Posts will release a commemorative stamp in the city to mark Mother Teresa's canonisation in the Vatican on September 4. "SAINT TERESA" Mother Teresa will be declared a saint on Sunday. Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications and Minister of State for Railways Shri Manoj Sinha will release the stamp at a function organised at Divine Child High School auditorium, Near J. B. Nagar, Metro Station, Andhere (East), Mumbai 400059, which would be attended by the Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra and Goa circle, a senior India Post official said. He said issuing of the stamp is a gesture of respect and gratitude for the Nobel laureate nun for her exemplary humanitarian service towards the mankind.
