PM cadre restrucutre - Reply received from the directorate for the AIAPS cadre restructure letter

Dear Postmasters,            For our continuous letters regarding cadre restructure, we have received the following reply from the postal directorate for our trade union letters.         Once again para "F" of the cadre restructure bilateral agreement was conveyed to our association to implement the cadre restructure once other cadre restructures are completed.            Now the positive things in the following reply of the directorate are, as per the clause "the matter will be examined in the light of the same" we shall extend such clause to Postmaster cadre restructure too that as per the light of the no of posts enhanced and upgraded the pay in Group C cadre restructure, Postmaster Cadre restructure shall also be claimed to extend the no of posts and upgrading the pay while implementing the postmaster cadre restructure in the light of the same with Group C cadre restructure.            Regarding that we have already submitted a detailed propos

More than 2 dozen companies want collaboration with India Post Payments Bank

Replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha, the Minister of Communications Shri Manoj Sinha said that while the Department is in various stages of discussions with them, decision on formal partnerships will be taken after carefully evaluating the entire value proposition that they propose for the common man. 7th Pay Commission: Lavasa panel might give report to FM today

"The panel's work is in its final stages," said a senior officer A panel headed by former finance secretary Ashok Lavasa, tasked with examining the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC) recommendations on allowances, might have its final meeting on Tuesday, followed by its report going to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Business Standard has learnt. The matter will then go to the Union Cabinet, on revised allowances for 4.7 million employees. Officials said most of the work on the report was complete. "The panel's work is in its final stages," said a senior officer. If the minister accepts the report, it will only be a matter of days before the Cabinet takes up the matter. It is understood the Centre wants to give the revised allowances from early 2017-18. In late June last year, after implementing the CPC proposals on salary and pension, Jaitley had announced the Lavasa panel would examine the suggestions on allowances. It had time till October

CRs Called for

Dear Postmasters     Here we have a good news . At last , promotions to Grade 1 including MACP II has been initiated. C.O. has asked for furnishing of CRs of the eligible officials from divisions . A mail has been received by Divisions today to that effect. Last date for submission to  R.O./CO is 04.04.17. Please  liaise with your divisions so that CRs  upto 31.03.2017 are sent in time to R.O/CO. CS

POSTMASTERS ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN 16.03.2017 STRIKE

As we know, We are not in JCA and nobody consulted with us to be the part of their JCA. Proper respect and recognition is must towards all our Postmaster cadre members and as well as Supervisors. During September 2016 strike also JCA team were not consulted with us to form the JCA. But during the strike, local office bearers have requested to participate in that September strike after knowing the importance of the Postmasters and supervisors. Without the support of the postmasters and supervisors NO STRIKE CAN BE SUCCESSFUL. Though this strike is projected that for the general cause, all the sectional demands were placed except postmasters and supervisors. After neglected the sectional demands, how could local office bearers are requesting the Postmasters to participate in this strike?
