Dear Postmaster! 
      Greetings.This department has created the Postmaster Cadre with lot of expectations. The training was also imparted in a different way.  We  entered with lot of hope and enthusiasm.   But, it appears that there are some hurdles to reach the expectations by both the department and the officials in the Cadre due to various reasons. In these circumstances, It has been  proposed by so many of our colleagues to gather at a place to discuss various matters pertaining to our Postmaster Cadre as we had discussed batch wise in PTC, Mysore. Since this is our maiden  meeting,  all are requested to attend the program with views and suggestions,  inform the same to all our remaining colleagues and make our meeting an encouraging one.

ENHANCEMENT OF FINANCIAL POWERS OF HSG, HSG-II AND LSG POST MASTERS ( THESE ORDERS ARE IN FORCE. Revised norms of work of Postmen----for information of supervisory cadre

Department in Memo No 9-1/2005-WSI/PE-I dated 5.2.2010 has revised the norms for Postmen establishment as follows. The revised norms will also be applicable for GDS MD as per note below Rule 106 of Volume VI Part III. The Head of Circles and Regional PMsG are requested to undertake a review of the implementation of revised norms after six months and provide the for assessing the impact of new norms and undetaking a fresh review if considered necessary.
