Dear Postal Supervisors and Post Master cadre officials

AIAPS had taken up the issue of granting better pay scales to General line supervisor as well as Post Master Cadre officials.  Our views as published in this blog along with opinions received from members  are consolidated by our General Secretary Shri Manoj Bharadwajji to present in the meeting to be held today in the Directorate. As all members demanded for GP 4200 for LSG/Gr.I PM; GP 4600 for HSG-II/Gr.II and GP 4800 for HSG-I/Gr.III officials, we have submitted valid reasons in our report.  Let us hope that both unions should also give support to our genuine demand.

  1. If, the department has not considered our valid and justfied demand, let us go to CAT and court of law for unjustified and heavy work load including care taking duty of Post Offices during the nights also. We have to explain our vast responsibilities in post offices beyond office ours including care taking the post office and valuebles. Thus, we are loosing our personal life enjoyment and freedom by sticking the post office 24 hours continouslly where as all postal officials and officers will have no such problem.

  3. We should demand Rs.4600/ as GP for Postmaster(Grade I)at par with an IP. IP and Postmaster(Grade I) are selected through LDCE from Officials of Clerical Cadre with 5 years service. We should not lose our identity and reputation since all Postmasters are shouldering heavy work load of multivarious duties and playing vital role in DoP.
