India Post has applied for banking licence and is among the other 26 companies like, Reliance, Tata, Birla etc. who applied for Banking licence. If grnated licence by RBI, licencee Bank has to start its operations within 18 months besides depositing requisite funds.Let Us all hope India Post will get licence.
