Continuous absence to duty for more than 5 years with or with out leave will be treated as deemed Resignation - Amendement to CCS (leave) Rules  Department of Personnel and Training has amended the CCS (Leave) Rules 1972 vide  Notification  dated 29.03.2012.  As per the amendment, no Government Servant shall be granted leave of any kind for a continuous period exceeding 5 years and  the Government Servants who remains absent from duty for more than 5 years continuously,other than on foreign service,  with or without leave , shall be deemed to have been resigned from Government service.

New Transfer policy of IPoS Gropu A -Grouping of Circles into Clusters removed The Postal Directorate vide its OM no 4-9/2011-SPG dated 29.03.2012 has announced new Transfer policy for Indian Postal Services Group A Officers up to HAG Level. In the new policy, Grouping of circles into clusters and classification of cities into A, B & C has been deleted.
