Dear Post Masters, Everybody, now, understand the recommendations of VII CPC. Regarding Post Master cadre there is one positive recommendation that officers in Post Master Grade-III and Grade-II will be allowed to appear LDCE for 75% of Sr. Post master posts along with Inspector Posts cadre officials.  After accepting this recommendation by the Government, DoP will take action for revision of Sr. Post Master recruitment rules for that at least 2 to 3 years will takes place.  There is no clarity on qualifying service in Post Master Grade-II and Grade-III cadre. In depth analysis revealed that we have only 1000+ posts in Post Master Grade-II and Grade-III all over India.  Getting Grade-II promotion is a difficult task as only 33.3% posts are available when compare with no. of Grade-I PM posts. Very meager officials will be benefited by this recommendation.  Service unions/associations is failed to project operative side work before VII CPC.  From V CPC, operative side supervisor

1) OUR GENUINE DEMAND TO GRANT GP Rs.4200 FOR GRADE-I POST MASTER HAS NOT BEEN ACCEPTED BY THE CPC.   2) NO CHANGE IN PAY SCALES FOR HSG-I, HSG-II AND LSG CADRE SUPERVISORS. 3) NEW PAY FIXATION :- MULTIPLY YOUR EXISTING BASIC PAY+GRADE PAY WITH 2.57 AND FIX YOUR NEW BASIC PAY IN NEXT ABOVE IN THE PAY MATRIX IN YOUR GRADE PAY. I.E. IF YOUR EXISTING BASIC PAY IS Rs.16490/- IN GP OF Rs.2800;  MULTIPLY WITH 2.57 THEN Rs.42380(ROUNDED OFF TO NEXT 10) THEN FIX YOUR NEW BASIC PAY AT Rs.42800 4) HRA IS BEING FIXED AT 24, 16 AND 8% FOR X,Y AND Z CLASS;  IF DA  CROSSED 50%, HRA WILL BE FIXED AT 27, 18 AND 9%; IF DA CROSSED 100%, HRA WILL BE FIXED AT 30,20 AND 10% RESPECTIVELY. 5) 7 CPC RECOMMENDED TO PERMIT POST MASTER CADRE OFFICERS (GRADE-II & III) FOR SR.POST MASTER EXAMINATION FOR 75% OF SR. Seventh CPC Chairman Justice Mathur confirmed submission on 19th November PTI News : New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) The 7th Pay Commission will submit its report to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday recommending increase in remuneration of central government employees as well as pensioners. "We are ready with the report and will submit it on November 19," the Commission's Chairman Justice A K Mathur told PTI. The Commission was set up by the UPA government in February 2014 to revise remuneration of about 48 lakh central government employees and 55 lakh pensioners. Its recommendations will also have a bearing on the salaries of the state government staff. The Union Cabinet had extended the term of the panel in August by four months, till December.
