POSTMASTERS HISTORY IS GOING TO BE REWRITTEN

Dear Postmasters of TN,

HISTORY IS GOING TO BE REWRITTEN

We are all well aware of joining into All India Assoication of Postal Supervisors (GL) as like Maharashtra and other circles since Group- C Federated unions couldn't bring our distinct supervisory postmaster cadre issues.

Each division atleast one voluntary postmaster is invited to get the membership verification forms from all the postmasters under their divisions. Atleaste 7 members of AIAPS(GL) are required in one postal division to form divisional level AIAPS(GL) body to bring our local issues to formal monthly meeting at DO. So friends many of the divisions are having the strength of atleast 7. I requested you all to join your hands in this biggest event of TN-Postmasters.

Future is ours if we acted in full swing. Lets rewrite the fates of Postmasters by joining in recognized union of AIAPS(GL)

The following are our goals after joining in AIAPS(GL)

1. Present our cadre properly in 7th pay commission panel since the 7th pay commission chairman asked the final representation if any from the unions except from the individual members

2. Specific cadre restructure in our distinct cadre instead of in Group C cadre restructure.

3.   Arrange to issue the confirmation order on completion of probationary period of two years by the Postmaster Grade I/II

4.   To convene DPC for the promotion to Grade III from Grade II eligible officials immediately to protect the financial loss and to open the promotional avenue.

5.   To issue orders of adhoc posting in Grade II offices from Grade I Postmasters as those identified offices are manned by Postal Assistants with financial benefit who are junior to the Postmasters who are qualified and approved by the tough competitive exams

6.   To provide good machinery, such as updated computer accessories, UPS Batteries, AMC activated Gensets for smooth functioning.

7.   To give training on the developments and future requirement of department at local/PTC/abroad to the Postmaster cadre officials to equip them updated

8.   To Request the PMGs to consider all the transfer requests of postmaster cadre officials in humanity manner

9. This is last but not least, I assure on behalf of the Postmasters of Tamilnadu Circle, We will assist you and your team with all our extreme efforts for the development of department in all segments. We expect the good environment in work place and the path to carrier progression in the Postmaster Cadre by the recognized union of AIAPS(GL)
