 2. RE-DISTRIBUTE TARGET TO POSTMEN DEPENDING UPON BEAT STRENGTH.  LARGE BEAT, BEAT HAVING COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES ETC., MAY BE GIVEN MORE...

 3. EXHIBIT SCHEME PAM PLATES IN THE PROMINENT PLACE OF YOUR POST OFFICE.

 4. EXPLAIN BRIEFLY ABOUT THE ASEERVACHANAM SCHEME TO REGULAR SAVINGS BANK CUSTOMERS AND ASK THEM TO BOOK ATLEAST 1 PRASADAM.

 5. INFORM YOUR DIVISIONAL HEAD, STEPS TAKEN TO ACHIEVE TARGET.  SEEK FURTHER GUIDANCE FROM YOUR IPO/SPOs/SSPOs TO ACHIEVE TARGET.

 6. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OFFICIALS WORKING IN YOUR OFFICE WILL BECOME PART AND PARCEL IN ACHIEVING TOTAL POST OFFICE TARGET. HENCE EXPLAIN NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN ACHIEVING BD TARGET.

ENHANCEMENT OF FINANCIAL POWERS OF HSG, HSG-II AND LSG POST MASTERS ( THESE ORDERS ARE IN FORCE. Revised norms of work of Postmen----for information of supervisory cadre

Department in Memo No 9-1/2005-WSI/PE-I dated 5.2.2010 has revised the norms for Postmen establishment as follows. The revised norms will also be applicable for GDS MD as per note below Rule 106 of Volume VI Part III. The Head of Circles and Regional PMsG are requested to undertake a review of the implementation of revised norms after six months and provide the for assessing the impact of new norms and undetaking a fresh review if considered necessary.
