            In pursuance of the orders contained in Directorate order No. 26-9/2013-SPG dated 23.08.2013, the competent authority has ordered the following postings of Medical Officers to the Postal Dispensaries mentioned against their names.

2. The appointments/ postings of the above doctors will be in accordance with terms and conditions stipulated by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.



3. The scale of pay of the post is PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- +Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- plus admissible allowances. The initial pay of the officers, if in Government Service, will be fixed according to the rules and if not in Govt. service, will be fixed at the minimum of the pay scale. The posting of the above doctors as Medical Officer, will be subject to observing prescribed formalities.
4. The above doctors are directed to report to the concerned PMG office within one month of issue of this communication failing without which posting order will be treated as cancelled without any further reference.
4. Relevant charge reports may be sent to all concerned.

GRANT OF TA & TRANSIT (TA & TP) TO OFFICIALS TRANSFERRED ON COMPLETION OF TENURE TO THE PLACE OF THEIR CHOICE . A proposal on grant TA and transit to officials who are transferred on completion of tenure to the place of their choice was under consideration in this Directorate for sometime past.      SR-114 governs TA on transfer distinguishes between transfer for public convenience and transfer on own request.  Although transfer on completion of tenure in one office has not been specifically referred to in this rule, yet the transfer on completion of tenure is a transfer for public convenience.  On completion of tenure, the official has to be transferred out for operational reasons.  Therefore, such a transfer is mandatory, while posting to a place of choice is secondary and subject to public convenience.  In view of this posting to a place of choice after completion of full tenure may not be normally termed as a "transfer on own request" under SR-114.      It
