CBSE has plans to introduce digital learning class room


 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has planned to launch an online e-learning website which would facilitate self learning by by more than 1 crore CBSE students throughout India.

With the increase of Internet Bandwidth in India, Interactive e-leaning through various education websites has taken a big leap in India. In line with private education companies, CBSE has now come forward to start e-learning facility for its students.

According to CBSE spokesperson Ms Rama Sharma, the content can be can be accessed anytime online. As every student has a different pace of learning, the personalized solution will allow the students to learn at their leave

The e-content would be available in interactive 2D and 3D animations, live lectures, virtual labs and simulations.

It is needless to say Children would be delighted to learn their lessons through Animations. According to Ms Sharma,
About 3,000 animations for classes IX and X and 1,500 for classes I to VIII will be available in the new e-learning portal.
She also told news persons that the live lectures will be of 80 hours for classes IX and 40 hours per class for VI, VII and VIII

GRANT OF TA & TRANSIT (TA & TP) TO OFFICIALS TRANSFERRED ON COMPLETION OF TENURE TO THE PLACE OF THEIR CHOICE . A proposal on grant TA and transit to officials who are transferred on completion of tenure to the place of their choice was under consideration in this Directorate for sometime past.      SR-114 governs TA on transfer distinguishes between transfer for public convenience and transfer on own request.  Although transfer on completion of tenure in one office has not been specifically referred to in this rule, yet the transfer on completion of tenure is a transfer for public convenience.  On completion of tenure, the official has to be transferred out for operational reasons.  Therefore, such a transfer is mandatory, while posting to a place of choice is secondary and subject to public convenience.  In view of this posting to a place of choice after completion of full tenure may not be normally termed as a "transfer on own request" ...
