To include All India Association of Postmaster Cadre (AIAPC) for the membership verification process-2015, Writ petition was filed at Jodhpur court and petition numbered 6895/2015.

Hon'ble Court passed the interim order now dated 06.08.2015, to not to complete the membership verification process-2015 belongs to postmaster cadre, until final outcome of the court orders and the department is now allowed to file a written reply within 3 weeks i.e., within 27.08.2015.

Revised norms of work of Postmen----for information of supervisory cadre

Department in Memo No 9-1/2005-WSI/PE-I dated 5.2.2010 has revised the norms for Postmen establishment as follows. The revised norms will also be applicable for GDS MD as per note below Rule 106 of Volume VI Part III.
